Bottorf is a general assignment reporter covering local government and also writes features. Rounding out the editorial staff is Chase Bottorf of Lock Haven, a Central Mountain High School and Lock Haven University graduate with a bachelor of arts degree in English. Today, she handles the vast bulk of the paper’s layout, design, and graphical needs, as well as assisting with editing content and selecting stories from the Associated Press. She has filled in various roles since she began working at the paper in 2017, beginning as an editorial assistant in the newsroom before working her way up as a night editor and associate editor. In 2018, she and her predecessor, Lana Muthler, covered the long-awaited Lloyd Groves murder trial and received an award for Best General News Reporting from The Associated Press.Īrianna McKee is a 2011 graduate of Lock Haven University with Bachelors in both English-Writing and Philosophy. Jameson currently covers the Clinton County commissioners, City of Lock Haven, Mill Hall Borough, Clinton County Economic Partnership and curates’ local content for The Scene, Golden Opportunities and the Weekender content such as Garden, Religion and Outdoors. In 2021, Jameson was promoted to assignment editor. In 2018, she was promoted to staff reporter and took over the duties and responsibilities of her predecessor, long-time community news and features editor Wendy Stiver. Laura Jameson is an award-winning journalist whose career began and continues at The Express.Ī 2016 graduate of Jersey Shore High School, where she wrote articles for the school’s student newspaper, Jameson joined The Express in August 2017 as an editorial assistant. While lead reporter covering the Keystone Central School Board, Morelli primarily covers Centre County, including Bellefonte Borough, Bellefonte Area School District, the Centre County Commissioners and writes about the people, places and things all around eastern Centre County. He joined The Express staff in the fall of 2018. He has served as a sports writer, news writer and managing editor. Prior to joining The Express, he worked at small and large newspapers, including the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, Clearfield Progress, Centre Daily Times, Butler Eagle, Johnstown Tribune-Democrat, Blue White Illustrated and the Centre County Gazette. ![]() He is a graduate of Penn State University.
